1. Oxidation of slag inclusions
Oxidation and slag inclusions are generally caused by unclean charge or excessive use of charge during use. Poorly designed low-pressure pouring wheel, improperly set when filling.
2. Stomata and Shrinkage
The porosity problem is the most common problem in the low pressure casting process. Generally, it is caused by poor venting of the mold, poor spraying of the mold coating system, and improper setting of the cooling ring, which can also cause air holes and shrinkage cavities.
3. Cracks
In the low pressure casting process, cracks are very common. The mold design is unreasonable. Sharp corners and differences in wall thickness can cause cracks. In order to eradicate cracks, the structural design of low-pressure die-casting molds must inevitably be improved. Only the reasonable design of the mold can help solve the problem.
