There are so many people who are curious about the price of casting in China, Today I will share some valuable information with you.

1. Gray iron castings by green sand, manual or automatic molding:
Raw castings without machining: ~1.27 USD/kg.

2. Gray iron castings by resin sand:
Raw castings without machining: ~1.43 USD/kg.

3. Gray iron castings by shell molding process:
Raw castings without machining: ~1.59 USD/kg.

4. Ductile iron (SG iron) castings by green sand:
Raw castings without machining: ~1.43 USD/kg.

5. Ductile iron (SG iron) castings by resin sand:
Raw castings without machining: ~1.59 USD/kg.

6. Ductile iron (SG iron) castings by shell molding:
Raw castings without machining: ~1.75 USD/kg.

7. Carbon steel castings by dry sand:
Raw castings without machining: ~1.51 USD/kg.

These prices are just #EXW, so they do not include machining, painting, packing, and delivery costs. The pattern and machining fixture costs will be some extra costs. The patterns are the necessary tools for casting production. The clients must pay for the patterns in advance. If it will need machining, then there may be fixture costs.
